“I need a dollar”

Hey svima, kako ste?

Hi everyone, how are you doing? The last few days were absolutely chaotic considering my job, free time, love and everything else that falls under the category of life. As most of you already know, in Belgrade, the city of “haste and traffic jams”, the rain was falling almost constantly, and not just any rain, but the worst kind of boring rain, with occasional thunderstorm here and there, or monsoon as my friend calls it. Well, a blogger could not take photographs for his new post in this weather! Because of this awful climate we have here now, Belgrade, the city which turns into dirty backwater full of cars and everything else on 4 wheels, it also becomes a pot of bacteria and viruses. To make things worse, I have a throat ache and back pain from my not so active life apparently and I also suffer from chronic insomnia, which I’m sure does not only bug me. Anyhow, since I was prepared for this, a few days ago I did a series of photoshoots with my good friend, so I had a few outfits stacked on my computer.

My not really today’s outfit was stylistically inspired by Gipsy style, only without apparent layering. I accessorized with low gray Converse, which cannot be avoided during the summer. Ornaments that look like stylised leaves, textile hat and combining gold and silver and vintage sunglasses bring out a dash of kitsch, not overwhelming and lacking taste, but rather recessive, light and descrete, because I did not mix colours and textures, I did not overdo it with pashminas or stacked bracelets.

At the end of the post, I will show you some of the photographs I found or took myself so you could see Belgrade surrounded by the darkness of the clouds.
